Welcoming Ella Tighe aka “Practice with Ella” back to Norwich!
Dance Artist and Yoga teacher Ella returns with 2 specially curated workshops aimed at those who want to advance and improve their yoga practice
RocketBeats - a taster 1.30-3.30pm
RocketBeats is a strong, breath-based dynamic yoga practice which is practised to a playlist of epic beats. RocketBeats evolved from Rocket yoga, but also includes different styes of yoga and movement practices within it. RocketBeats has no set sequence but each practice focuses on a particular direction of travel - Up, Down, Forwards and Backwards (each of these focuses on a different area of engagement and intention in the body).
If you like working out but think yoga isn't hard enough or traditional yoga doesn't appeal to you- RocketBeats is for you! With an emphasis on a modern approach to yoga - you'll find yourself working up a sweat one side plank at a time!
This is a mixed-level workshop with options both to make your practice harder or take things back a level and do the foundations - your practice, your choice!
RocketBeats was created by the teaching duo Imi Wiseman and Alan Ellman, based in London.
This session will give you a taster of what RocketBeats is all about.

About Ella
Ella Tighe is a dance-maker and yoga teacher.
She has taught yoga in London, The Netherlands and now in Bradford!
Movement has always been her passion and she loves to share what she has and is learning with her students.
She loves silly little drills that look easy but are really hard, being upside down and cheerleading her students on through class.
Over the past 4 years teaching in Bradford, Ella found that her classes gained a bit of a reputation for being a bit hardcore as far as yoga is concerned! That people tend to shy away from Rocket-based practices, for thinking they are “not good enough because they can’t do a handstand” or “its too hard” . Rocket, like any other yoga practice, isn’t about whether you can do all the things - it’s about showing up, giving it a go and what you learn about yourself in the process. The great thing about this practice is that there will always be a moment where you find yourself bursting into laughter with a group of people as you all attempt a ridiculous arm balance together - that can be quite fun!
Ella has been practicing and teaching yoga for 10 years and has trained with some of the most influential dynamic yoga teachers in the business. All of whom continue to inspire her teaching. Through Practice with Ella she aims to provide regular high quality teaching to her community alongside bringing some of the teachers who have influenced her practice up to Yorkshire.
