Tango Movement

Curious about Tango but not sure where to begin? This ninety minute introductory workshop will guide you into the beautiful fundamentals of Argentine Tango in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Rather than memorising complicated steps, Tango begins with something much more elegant: how we stand, walk, connect and move together. Tango is an improvised dance, helping us to stay present in the moment.

In this session you’ll explore the essential building blocks of the dance, including:

✨ Posture and balance
✨ The iconic Tango walk
✨ Partner connection and communication
✨ Spirals and natural turning movements

Through simple exercises and guided practice, you'll begin to experience the flowing, conversational quality that makes Argentine Tango so unique. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move.

No partner is needed, this workshop offers a friendly introduction to a dance that is both playful and deeply expressive.

Come and take your first steps into the world of Tango.

Led by Abby Hoffmann & Sophie Milner, both experienced Tanguera’s!
