Join Julie Martin for a weekend of embodied inquiry that invites curiosity, creativity, and play into your movement and self-awareness practice.
These workshops are designed to explore how fascia, the nervous system, and our lived experiences shape the way we move and feel — not just in our physical patterns, but in our emotional responses and beliefs.
Friday 8 May
18.00–20.00 — Opening Movement Exploration
Ease into the weekend with a playful, embodied session to drop into presence.
Saturday 9 May
12.30–14.00 — Embodied Masterclass
Grounded in somatic awareness, movement principles, and pranayama.
14.30–17.00 — Afternoon Explorations
Through movement, journaling, and sharing practices, we’ll unravel how fascia and the nervous system influence not only our movement patterns but also the way we perceive and respond to the world.
We’ll explore:
How fascia holds memory and movement patterning
How the nervous system adapts to (and reinforces) beliefs and behaviours
The relationship between physical holding patterns and emotional narratives
Tools to interrupt automatic reactions and foster new, embodied responses
Sunday 10 May
11.30-14.00We continue our investigations from the previous day with explorations, theory and a movement sequence.
These sessions aren’t about fixing — they’re about unfolding. You’ll learn how to tune in to the subtler layers of your body’s intelligence and engage with your movement patterns as a gateway to personal insight and transformation.
Everyone is welcome to join. Bring your journal and curiosity and expect the unexpected!
