Summer energy can feel bright and expansive, but it can also tip into feeling a bit “wired”, rushed, or scattered. This workshop is a chance to harness that seasonal lift in a way that feels steady and nourishing, helping you feel open, connected, and more at ease in your body.
Join Cat Westwood and explore the Fire Element in Chinese Medicine, linked with the Heart system (Heart, Small Intestine, Triple Heater and Heart Protector meridians), and use it as a practical lens for supporting joy, self-compassion, and emotional balance.
Through a blend of self-shiatsu, acupressure, Qi Gong, energy work, freeform movement and yoga, you’ll be guided to:
release tension and feel more open through the chest, shoulders and upper body
support circulation and energy without pushing
regulate the nervous system and settle mental overdrive
reconnect with self-compassion and the ability to receive support
leave with simple tools (points + practices) you can use at home
Expect a supportive, welcoming space where you can move at your own pace. No experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to tune in.
