200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Norwich

Architecture, Alchemy and Fire

Architecture, Alchemy & Fire is a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training for students, practitioners and movement teachers ready to deepen their practice, develop their teaching voice and learn how to create intelligent, embodied yoga classes with confidence.

Become a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher: Architecture, Alchemy & Fire

Led by Abby Hoffmann and Marie Williams, Architecture, Alchemy & Fire is a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training rooted in intelligent sequencing, embodied teaching, Ashtanga foundations, Rocket evolution and the art and science of heat.

This training is designed for dedicated practitioners, aspiring teachers and movement professionals who want to understand how to build a practice, transform it into an experience, and teach it with clarity, confidence and integrity.

Through a combination of in-studio immersion, supported teaching practice, observation, assisting, mentorship and high-quality online learning, trainees will develop the skills needed to hold a room, adapt to real bodies and teach safe, engaging Vinyasa classes with their own voice.

This is not a large-scale training. Places are limited to preserve individual attention, meaningful feedback and a strong community learning environment.

The Alchemy

This is what brings the structure to life.

Alchemy is about attention, embodiment, creativity, connection and skilful facilitation. It’s the difference between moving people through shapes and guiding a practice that feels absorbing, meaningful and alive.

You’ll explore breath, rhythm, sensation, pacing, pause, silence, music and the subtle choices that help a class land.

The Fire

Fire brings in the specialist skill of teaching in heat.

You’ll learn how heat changes physiology, pacing, language, responsibility and class design - including how to support students safely in heated environments without encouraging them to override their body’s signals.

Fire also speaks to the energy of transformation: discipline, courage, clarity and the confidence to step into your own voice as a teacher.

The Architecture

This is the craft behind a well-designed Vinyasa class.

You’ll explore sequencing, rhythm, repetition, progression, musicality, cueing and the building blocks drawn from Ashtanga, Rocket and contemporary Vinyasa Flow.

You’ll learn how to create classes with purpose — not just collections of postures, but experiences that have structure, direction and clarity.

What makes this training different?

Rooted in Ashtanga

You’ll explore Ashtanga as one of the key foundations of modern Vinyasa Flow: rhythm, repetition, breath, gaze, structure and the intelligence of a consistent practice.

Liberated by Rocket

You’ll look at how Rocket reinterprets Ashtanga material with creativity, play and freedom - while still holding structure, progression and purpose.

Shaped through Vinyasa

You’ll learn how to build classes that flow intelligently, using sequencing, rhythm, transitions, progression and intention.

Transformed by attention

You’ll explore the more subtle skills of teaching: presence, pacing, language, music, silence, observation and the ability to respond to what is actually happening in the room.

Tested in the heat

You’ll learn how to teach safely and responsibly in heated environments, with clear understanding of pacing, hydration, fatigue, thermoregulation and student care.

Why Train With Yantra Academy?

At Yantra, we believe excellent teaching is built through real practice, thoughtful study, honest feedback and time spent learning in the room.

This training is not about performing advanced postures or memorising somebody else’s sequence.

It is a training in how to see, understand and teach movement.

You’ll learn inside a real, working studio environment, with a blend of in-person training, online seminars, studio practice, observation, assisting, teaching practice, mentoring and independent study.

The course will be led by Dr Abby Hoffmann, founder of Yantra Studio and Yantra Academy, alongside Marie Williams and specialist guest tutors.

Together, the faculty will offer a training that is rigorous but not rigid, creative without losing clarity, and grounded in real teaching experience.

“I could tell from the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm welcoming vibe, this studio is such a gem in the city! Even though I came in mostly for the hot yoga classes, I have found so much joy in the Barre classes that Abby (the owner) teaches - that was such a highlight of my day!”— Carol
